nVent RAYCHEM Raystat-Eco-10 Frost Protection Controller

Overview

Energy-saving trace heating controller for pipe frost protection

RAYSTAT-ECO-10 is an electronic controller with display, advanced alarm facilities and the capability of switching large currents. The RAYSTAT-ECO-10 is designed to control heating cable systems.

Self-regulating Heating cable FS-A/B/C can be controlled either directly by the RAYSTAT-ECO-10 or via a contactor.

Key benefits:

  • Energy savings by PASC (Proportional Ambient Sensing Control)
  • Direct switching of heating cables is possible for heating loads up to 25 A
  • Alarm relay: 2 A volt free with indication of sensor errors, voltage errors and low or high temperature alarm

Energy saving with Proportional Ambient Sensing Control (PASC)

Duty cycle (power to heater on) depends on the ambient temperature.
For example: If minimum temperature= –15°C and if maintain temperature (set point)= +5°C
